Seamless + Square: keep your Square payments, upgrade the till
If you take payments with Square but your till needs more, Seamless works with your Square Terminal. Pair it once and the till pushes every payment to the terminal automatically. We should say up front: Square is a partner, and pays us a share when venues process through this integration.
Keep your Square rates, change only the till: tabs, seat numbers, coursing, kitchen printing and screens, delivery integration, recipe based stock.

How the Square integration works
Connected from your own Square account, in minutes
Step 1
Connect your Square account
Link your existing Square account to Seamless from the backoffice. You approve the connection with Square directly, and your merchant account, rates and settlement stay where they are.
Step 2
Pick a location, pair the Terminal
Choose which Square location the payments book against, then pair each till to a Square Terminal with a six character device code. On the Terminal, choose Sign in with a device code and type it in. The code lasts about five minutes.
Step 3
Take integrated payments
Totals push from the till to the Terminal automatically. Refunds and split bills run from the till, and every payment lands on the order it belongs to.
Why integrate?
What the Square integration actually does
Seamless is the till layer. Square carries on doing the payments. You get everything on all features, including the table service, coursing and kitchen display work that venues outgrow simpler tills for. Run it on an iPad, an Android device, or an all-in-one unit from our shop, alongside the Square Terminal you already have.
What stays with Square
Your Square account, your rates and your settlement
Square processes the payment and pays it into your bank, exactly as today
The Square dashboard still shows the money side
Your existing Square Terminal, now paired to Seamless POS
What the till gains
Refunds from the till, whole bill or single item, back to the original card
Split bills: part-pay on the Terminal and settle the rest any way you like
The till re-checks an interrupted payment instead of charging it again
Tabs, seat numbers, coursing, kitchen printing, kitchen screens and stock
Integrated vs standalone
What changes when your Square Terminal talks to the till
Sent from the till automatically
Keyed by hand on every sale
Started from the till, whole or partial, against the original payment
Looked up and issued in the Square dashboard
Part-pay on the Terminal, settle the rest on cash, card or account
Totals worked out and keyed by hand
The till re-checks the same payment rather than starting a new one
Staff guess, and sometimes charge twice
Card takings match the till, every time
Manual cross-checking

Pricing
No contracts. Cancel anytime.
Two plans, both month-to-month, and the Square integration is included on both. Square's payment rates are between you and Square, and do not change when you add Seamless. The £0/month Seamless plan comes via our payments partner Teya, not Square: keeping Square costs £24/month and leaves everything else exactly as you have it. Both are fair choices, and the pricing page lays them side by side.

Who's behind Seamless
Built by the team behind IntelligentPos
Our founders built and sold IntelligentPos, one of the UK's leading iPad EPOS systems, to iZettle (now PayPal / Zettle) in 2016. Seamless is what we'd build now: stripped back, on iPad and Android, with direct integrations to the payment partners operators actually use.
