1. Log in to your backoffice at seamlesshq.co.uk and go to 'System Settings'.
2. Enable SumUp, and 'Default' if this is the primary method of card payment for your business.
3. Click 'Connect SumUp' and log in to SumUp using your credentials.
4. After logging in, any SumUp readers already paired to your account will be detected and connected.
5. If no readers are detected, you will be taken to the 'Pair a Reader' tab. Keep this window open while you get a pairing code from your reader:
Note: this requires a SumUp Solo reader.
If the Solo reader is logged in:
Swipe down from the top of the screen
Open Settings > About
Tap on Log Out
Once logged out:
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the menu and select 'Connections'.
In Connections, select the 'API' option, which allows transactions via the API.
Select 'Connect'. The reader will show a unique pairing code. The code expires after 5 minutes, so enter it in the next step straight away.
6. Enter the pairing code in the 'Pair a Reader' tab (you can also give the reader a name, e.g. 'Front counter'), then click 'Pair Reader'. Your reader will be paired and connected to your system.
